Dogs In A Pile Knoxville Concert reviews
Almost as good as the first time...
1. Got really good seats in the orchestra center section. The venue was really old and had a lot of character!
2. The show was amazing. They played like 18 songs, and Carina Round's opening set was spot-on! It went way too fast, and I will be eagerly anticipating their return!
3. I would see this show every night for a week if I could. They switched it up just enough to make it interesting. Remix of Momma Sed was really deep.
4. Maynard's "No Camera" policy is one that I agree with 1,000%, but the enforcement of said policy is really annoying. There were so many idiots shooting pics and video, that every 10 minutes saw a dustup or scuffle between security and said idiots. I found it really distracting, almost more distracting than the people taking photos. Please folks, respect the wishes of the artists, and leave the cameras off or in your pocket. It will make everyone's experience more enjoyable!
5. So when I saw Dogs In A Pile back in June and was blown away, it was a no brainer. I saw the opportunity again, closer to home, in March!
6. Well, I worried that I would not be blown away again if the show was really similar to my June show. No way, I was equally floored, and so was my wife!
